Return to School Plan - Wednesday, Jan 28

Constantine Public Schools plans to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026 — weather permitting. While the Village water boil advisory has not yet been lifted, we have implemented rigorous safety precautions to ensure our students and staff can return to a healthy learning environment. Please review the following details carefully as we transition back to the classroom:

Drinking Water & Hygiene

  • Bring Your Own Water: We are asking all students and staff to please bring their own water bottles for the day, as all drinking fountains remain disabled.

  • School Supply: We will also have a supply of bottled water available in every building for those who need it.

  • Handwashing: Per health guidelines, it is safe to wash hands with soap and tap water. We will encourage frequent handwashing and have hand sanitizer available throughout the buildings.

Student Meals Our food service team has adjusted the menu to ensure safety. All food preparation for tomorrow will be handled without the use of tap water. We are committed to providing nutritious meals while strictly adhering to all boil advisory protocols.

Weather Note We are monitoring the weather and roads closely. Should the weather impact our ability to safely transport students, our goal is to notify you by 5:00 AM, tomorrow morning.

Traffic & Campus Access: Falcon Drive is OPEN! We received word that repairs are complete and Falcon Drive is now fully open and passable for through traffic.

We know it’s been a whirlwind of a week, and we are so eager to see everyone back at school! (We’re relieved it’s finally "someday!") Thank you for your incredible patience and flexibility.

Stay safe and stay warm!
